IP cameras run on the same structured cabling as your computers, access control needs power supplies and door hardware wired correctly, and an alarm panel is only as reliable as its supply. Because Eclipse has its own data cabling and electrical teams, the cable runs, switch ports and power are designed with the security layout rather than added afterwards.

It also helps with the rest of the building. Access control can hand occupancy information to a building management system, so air conditioning and lighting follow who is actually on site. One contractor documents the whole network, which makes future changes much simpler.

Compliance and ongoing support

Workplace cameras in NSW are covered by the Workplace Surveillance Act 2005, which requires written notice to employees at least 14 days before surveillance begins, visible cameras and clear signage.
