An alarm system is the part of your security that tells someone a break-in is happening, not just that it happened. It only works if it is armed consistently, if it detects intruders without constant false alarms, and if the alert reaches someone who will act. Eclipse installs intruder and perimeter alarms for warehouses, factories, offices, retail, strata buildings and homes across Sydney.
Why alarm design matters
The most common problem with business alarms is not failure to detect, it is false alarms. Sensors in the wrong place pick up air conditioning, roller doors rattling in wind or birds inside a warehouse. After a few false callouts, staff stop arming the system or the monitoring response gets slower. A good design avoids that from the start.
Zoning is the other key decision. A business with an office, a warehouse floor and a yard usually needs to arm those areas separately, so the warehouse can be secured while office staff are still working, or the perimeter can be protected while the building is occupied. Perimeter detection gives earlier warning, before anyone reaches a door.

What you receive
You receive a tested system, a zone list showing every detector and what it covers, user codes set up for your staff and a simple guide to arming and disarming. Where monitoring is connected, we confirm signals are being received correctly before we leave. That zone list becomes very useful the first time a monitoring company calls at 2 am to say zone 7 has activated.
Where it fits with our other trades
Alarms are strongest when combined with other systems. An alarm activation can prompt a look at the relevant CCTV camera so you can check remotely whether it is a real intrusion, and access control can arm or disarm areas as authorised staff enter and leave. Because Eclipse also has electricians, alarm panels get a proper power supply and cabling is run neatly with the rest of the building’s services, not tacked along skirting boards.
Alarm testing and battery checks can be included in a maintenance contract alongside electrical and HVAC work.
