Eclipse Electrical, Mechanical & Security Services Pty Ltd started in Western Sydney in 1999. More than 25 years later we are still here, still Australian-owned and operated, and still working for the same kinds of clients: people responsible for keeping buildings running.
Where we work from
Our workshop and office are at Unit 3, 24 Eddie Road, Minchinbury, in the industrial precinct near the M4 and the Light Horse Interchange. It is where we keep stock, prepare equipment and run the business, and it puts our signwritten vans in the middle of the warehouse estates, business parks and suburbs we cover. From there we look after sites across Western Sydney and Greater Sydney.
Three trades under one roof
Most buildings need the same three things: reliable power, comfortable and controlled air, and security that actually works. Traditionally those come from three separate contractors, and the gaps between them become the facility manager’s problem. We set the business up differently.
- Electrical: installation and retrofits, switchboard upgrades, LED lighting, fault finding, data cabling, EV charger outlets, test and tag, thermal scanning, RCD testing, and emergency and exit lighting.
- Mechanical: HVAC installation, programmed and reactive maintenance, life-cycle planning, BMS installation and programming, and temporary air conditioning hire.
- Security: IP and analogue CCTV, intruder and perimeter alarms, access control, and video intercoms for offices, gates and apartment complexes.
Because the three trades sit in one business, systems are planned to work together. New air conditioning gets its circuit and its controls in the same job. CCTV runs on cabling we installed and documented. BMS work draws on electrical and mechanical knowledge at once, without a meeting between two companies.
Who we work for
Our clients are mostly commercial, industrial and strata: warehouse and logistics operators, manufacturers, facility managers, strata and property managers, office and retail tenants, and builders delivering fit-outs. How we work
- Site-aware. We complete inductions, follow permits and traffic rules, and plan shutdowns around your operations, tenants or trading hours.
- Tidy. We protect finishes, clean up as we go and leave plant rooms and ceilings in better order than we found them.
- Documented. You receive test registers, reports, logbooks and compliance records that you can file and hand to an auditor, insurer or fire safety practitioner.
- One point of contact. One person at Eclipse knows your site and coordinates the electrical, mechanical and security work on it.
Our qualified electricians and technicians work to the relevant standards, including AS/NZS 3000 for electrical installations, AS/NZS 3760 for test and tag and AS/NZS 2293 for emergency lighting. For clients who want this on a regular footing, we offer maintenance contracts that bring testing and servicing into one schedule.
